TDT Director Calls out All Israeli Politicians for not Representing the Israeli Street

Hi Shalom, Boker Tov, it’s Yitzchak Katzburg. I don’t usually make any sort of political
statements. But I wanted to say something to really call
something out. We see these elections. Basically it’s the same cards. Same thing as last time. Same cards. And we’re about to go into this whole game. And you hear what everybody saying. Really everybody is just saying the same thing
as last time. Really the way everybody’s talking, the Politicians,
is not the flavor on the street of Israel. It’s not the flavor of the people. When people meet each other on the Street. This whole, like, we’re not sitting with you. You know, this that. When a Haredi guy and a Chiloni guy meet on
the street, if this guy’s cool and this guy’s cool then they’re chill. Like, there’s no like, this doesn’t happen. This is like old school sinas chinam type
of mentality. And it doesn’t exist, you know, certainly
not within the Youth of the Jewish Nation. I mean the Flavor of the Jewish Nation these
days is like Unity and don’t step on anybody else’s toes. But this is not what we are hearing right
now. I mean the truth of the matter is really everybody
has to just open our eyes because we’re all doing the right things as a society. Look at the rest of the world and the rest
of the world is pretty much tanking all around and we’re the only ones going in the right
direction. But we just have to open up our eyes to what
each other are doing. Like, for instance. If you take all the Haredim, let’s say, and
you put green uniforms on them and a little lapel with like a Gamorah pin. And you know you have different units in the
Army. You have the Iron Dome. And they shoot up missiles. And these guys shoot up, you know, Ruach. Like spiritual energy. And that’s like a real thing. And then everybody would feel better. You know, the Rosh Yeshiva will sit up there. You know that will be their base in Bnei Brak. The Rosh Yeshiva will sit in a green uniform
also. Everybody will be happy then. You know that’s like a real thing. And if you don’t think that there such thing
as spiritual energy then you never been a lochem or you don’t read or see the news. That’s really your problem if you don’t believe
that there such thing as spiritual energy in the world. And that’s maybe something you have to work
on with Hashem. But don’t take it out on the rest of us. So basically there we have it. We have these different, and I get it everybody’s
representing their constituents, the people, their point of views, and everything like
that. But this type of like attitudes that are going
into these negotiations, which is the same thing that happened last time. The people are just digging in a little bit
more. And you know if we’re going to see the same
game being played for another few months. And then, you know, if there’s another elections. I mean I boycotted the news for like 3 month
just to not see anything. I don’t know. Whatever, just the attitudes. The attitudes of we’re going to make a coalition
with this guy’s opinion and this guy’s opinion, but we’re going to leave specifically these
guys in these guys out. On both sides, it’s going. On all sides have this attitude going in. And it’s not really a flavorable attitude. People are just digging in more. Whatever, maybe these guys don’t want to learn
science because they believe the world came into being through Sefirot. So now you going to stuff that down. This stepping on people’s toes that’s not
the right way to do it. On all sides. Obviously there’s a dream of Zion and we sing
Hatikva and we all came here everybody came here from somewhere else in the world and
we all have our dreams to build this land. And we’re doing it. Day by day. All together. But this type of attitude, like exclusiveness,
is not what is actually going on in the streets of Israel, amongst the people of Israel. So whatever, I’m just calling out to politicians. You know, everybody’s looking at you with
different glasses this time. This whole election, everybody was looking
at different glasses. People are seeing who is a giver. Who’s a taker. Who’s selfish. Who‘s saying stuff that are causing my Machlokes. To all you Politicians out there, everybody’s
looking at you with different glasses. Just watching it. And really this whole thing, I saw some commercials
before the elections, very disflavorful commercials going around. And that’s not really the flavor of the people. So you guys are supposed to represent us. But you’re not representing like what’s going
on in the streets of Israel. And that’s just what I wanted to call out
and say. I don’t know who’s listening but, whatever,
you know. Sholom al Yisroel
