NDAA and the US Constitution – Part 1: Romney & Gingrich

  1. What's to be done? If Ron Paul isn't nominated there will be no one to vote for who respects peace and civil liberties. For this country's survival we need to replace Obama.but the GOP choices mostly are terrible.

  2. “ In questions of power, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution.” Thomas Jefferson

  3. Love the content. One question: Is all the ambient noise with the kids talking in the background supposed to be for effect? Not certain what purpose that would have but possibly I'm missing something. Thanks for the video.

  4. Read Article 1 section 8 of the constitution. It clearly states Congress has the ability to classify you as a criminal or a lawful or unlawful enemy combatant. Gees read the constitution people.

  5. And the 5th amendment clearly gives the legal wording to give due process to criminals and not enemy combatants.

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, EXCEPT in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger…..

  6. I linked to this and the other two videos on my facebook page a few days ago. This morning I woke to find that I have no access to my facebook account. Using my sister's account (which I set up for her) I tried accessing my facebook page. the only thing that shows up is my profile picture, Yoda in sunglasses. On my sister's wall, all of my posts show up except the three videos in this series. You seem to have struck a nerve with these videos, LibertyShorts. Are we going to the Gulag now?

  7. @ammoncox, I read article 1 section 8. I find nothing there that describes congressional power to 'classify you as a criminal or a lawful or unlawful enemy combatant." Please explain why you believe this is stated.

  8. Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderberg ties, and approval of the NDAA?

Mitt, just who were you referring to when you so easily started discussing treason?

  9. When I'm considered an enemy combatant I will act like one. When the government chooses to only enforce SOME laws, I will choose to only obey SOME laws.

  10. In October of 2007, Romney told the Republican Jewish Coalition: “I think we’ll be successful nationwide. My plan, by the way, allows every citizen in America to get health insurance.” Asked by CNN’s John King at the time whether RomneyCare was a good model for the nation, he responded with a big grin, “Well, I think so.” Any we think he's really going to shrink spending?

  11. I wish the fools cheering Romney when he fear-mongered about the "Al-Qaeda" threat would wise up and realize the terrorist group was the same group that the US gave control of Libya after it was "liberated". Al-Qaeda and the "War on Terror" are the biggest scams ever perpetrated on the American sheeple, and it will continue as long as the ignorance is willful. Bullying innocent countries will necessarily result in the destruction of this country.

  12. NDAA 2012 was here. – This is the slippery slope all who took the Oath should worry about.
    @NDAA2012 WILL be abused!

  13. yes & by their own definition of 'terrorists' we have reason to be concerned. In their own words; "Liberty Lovers, People that Believe in End Times Bible Prophecy, People that Feel The NWO is a Conspiricy" etc. In their "Right Wing Extremism" document, it lists people that support Ron Paul & Tea Party members as terrorists. Yet DHS has removed all training materials having anything to do with Islam. One cant even use the word Jihad anymore. The writing is on the wall folks. We're all enemies now

  14. I noticed also that the language around the UN Small Arms Treaty that Obama has spoken of as being a good thing includes the word "insurgency" which I can see these people associating with those deemed to be a "threat" to "government"…which I guess has now declared itself to be a state separate from the people and no longer in service to them. Those who declare them to be in opposition to government policies or actions could be labeled by them to be "insurgents".

  15. @3:32
choose people with sufficient character, measured by whom? who is the person qualified to make the decision!?

  16. Great video, but you should've spoken more on Obama's role in this fiasco and the responsibility he has for signing it.
-& I'm an Obama supporter- just want to promote objectivity
